The C-17: The First Flight as an AC
"There's always, there's so many times where it just, it comes off the rails so quickly," he says. "The one that always kind of stands out to me is on my first flight as an AC ... This is where things go sideways" The C-17 has multiple redundant systems built into its hull and fuselage. It was never really supposed to fail -- but now we've had both them go down.
