Rabbi Sachs's Early Essays on Biblical Criticism

Rep. Soloveéric doesn't discuss that as part of his philosophical underpinning. One thing I say about Rabbi Sachs, which is really, I think quite incredible, is that from his very, very early essays, you already see the seeds of all his later thoughts. He develops them massively. But they're very early on. The one thing he speaks about earlier on, that he doesn't really engage in later is the idea of biblical criticism. It was at the time when he was writing in the mid-1980s, early 1990s, it was more of a burning issue than it is now. Or maybe it was just something he didn't think was relevant for later on
