The Kingdom of Belgium

The kingdom of belgium was a collection of provinces in revolt. The newly crowned leopold only had about 25 thousand troops to command, and those were a mix of militia and regular army. But when the dutch crossed the border, they fanned out and streamed south without difficulty. Next week we will go back in time once again to that all important congress of vienna that set up the international framework under which all these events are unfolding.
