How to Train for Competition Mode

In the off season I do a compound movement of some sort. Every six to seven weeks might be a five rep max but it's exactly how I squat. Then when I get into competition mode which is about 18 weeks out roughly I will switch to doing a competition specific exercise every three weeks. So if I do a double orange band with 465 I know I've been 600. And where to focus the movements to build the weak points. Yep.
