Colin wallac is disturbed by the continued speculation that the boy's murder had a ritualistic element. He believes it could be disrupting the police investigation. For many in northern island at the time, there were some killings that felt too gruesome to comprehend. These included assassinations of women which flew in the face of even hardened militiamen's sense of decency.
