Are We Going to Use Rank Choice Voting in a Presidential Primary?
Connecticut is one of 43 states where ranked choice voting has to be passed by state legislature, and then the party has to agree to use it. If a state passes a lot of set up, the parties are likely to use it because it really does make more votes count. It's also these crowded fields are very common, and I think the idea of rewarding a candidate that brings people together is particularly valuable for presidential elections.
