Marx's Historicalization of the Bourgeoisie
The rise of the bourgeoisie was itself a rebellion against feudal conditions and society which had birthed the class itself. So Marx summarizes this historicization by writing, quote, we see then the means of production and of exchange on whose foundation the bourgeois class built itself up were generated in feudal society. And so soon as they overcome these fetters, they bring disorder into the whole of bourgeois society, endangering the existence of bourgeois property.
