Fertilizer Prices Are Up

Fertilizer prices are up, driven apart by a dislocation in natural gas prices. Europe has historically used ammonium nitrate, which is band in many countries because of its potential to be used in explosives. Much of the world uses urea granules and it's much cheaper to make them at the moment in the us. Many european fertilizer plants have simply shut down.
