The Importance of Addressing the Social Security Cut

CNN's John Sutter asks why Social Security is so urgent now. Why can't we just let this play out and address it when, as you point out, it is an automatic benefit cut of 24%? He says there are three or four reasons why not: If we wait to the last minute, which would be an awful thing to do, it costs more to fix the problem. Lastly, our big idea is to address 75% of the issue with an investment fund - two times the plant an oak tree.
