The Suttonho Helmet - A Shamonic Scene of Horned Warriors
The suttonho helmet is thought to have been worn by a Mediaeval king. It shows two pairs of horned warriors in an odd pose, with one foot dragging or limping on the ground. The scenes are usually described as a sort of dance but i would theorize that this scene is supposed to be shamonic. There are many stories and accounts of shamonic figures who are believed to travel to the world of the dead. And from that, we could speculate that the helmet itself may have had a kind of shamonic ceremonial roll.
