The Benefits of a Cold Bath After Exercise

If you can use the palmer cooling during your workout or immediately after, you'll come back down from that high body temperature very quickly. The sooner you do it, the better, but an ice bath is not absolutely necessary. And I think there's a relationship between high temperature and the inflammation that results from it. But the thing that is absolutely true is that if you keep your temperature from rising too high, too long, during excessive workouts, you can't do it.
