"The moral of the story of media right now is just like monoculture is gone. And it's going to be impossible to make a show, an award situation, anything that appeals to fans of Marvel films and fans of Art House," he says. "I'm fine with that being like you can be a blockbuster, but you also have to have an artistic streak in you or else the Oscars aren't going to go for it."
