Regional Banks Are Quite Strategically Important for Rural United States

Donald Trump adjusted some of the regulatory framework to make some of the banks that are less than 250 billion dollars in assets. They don't they no longer had to meet that regulatory thresholds, because you know, you can ask you ask Donald Trump why he did that. What really happened was SVB handed out a bunch of loans in order to attract those deposits on extremely favorable terms and basically played fast and loose with a lot of stuff. But it makes sense that have regional banks that have sort of sector specific expertise.
