How to Grow a Fanbase in Kpop

I think Korean entertainment companies know how to grow a fandom and not just like grown artists. Taylor Swift is growing her own fan base. She makes the so fans get excited about like your Easter egg lyrics whatever. But some artists don't. They just passionate about music and release music and they just people end up liking it. Maybe it's also fun to have so many different personalities in a group which is more common in Kpop. There's like less boy bands and girl bands in American pop culture. When one direction existed I feel like people were pretty obsessed with that. Until they did expanded. Yeah yeah yeah.
