The technology is mature and approved. MERS went with methanol because their 200 largest customers are asking them for carbon neutral shipping. They want to reduce their scope three emissions with carbon neutral transport of their goods, whether it's an IKEA or a DEDIS. With methanol, you can have both a low-carbon and net carbon neutral fuel that can allow them to offer green certificates to their customer. But we're not there yet.
