The Story of Katie McCarran
Karen carried Katie into the house, passed a number of family members and then carried her upstairs to bed. She told her mother that Katie was sleeping. At one point, Karen decided to go to the local Kroger grocery store to get some ice cream. After getting the ice cream, she drove back to her mom and dad's house and decided that she needed to get the bag which she used to suffocate Katie. It really is to think about this three year old girl. And there were some comments I think that Karen made later that she could see her face through the bag and just really, really tough. They're going to find that out later. it's heartbreaking.
