Sally Kohn: Blumenthal acknowledged that there must be an underlying cause of action. She says the key thing about section 230 is it gets cases that are going to lose anyway, kicked out earlier and at much less expense for various websites. But without 230, you get the same result but much more expensive and costing websites, platforms, whoever, a lot more money.Kohn: I don't really see what she's getting at really is that she wants people to be able to bring the claims in court to fail and thus cost the platforms a lot of money.
