Telly Savales: A Wife's Husband

Telly Savales' screen presence was such that he could go toe-to-toe with any movie tough guy and not back down. So when you're seeing him use that presence where he has all of this disdain and aggressive energy towards his wife and daughter, I think you really feel that. He fits very well into this role as a kind of abusive spouse. But there are different layers to it, which we'll come to as well later on.
