How to Start a Morning Routine
Gretchen Rubin wrote about wanting to start a meditation habit. And she felt that having a meditation habit would make her feel grounded. None of those routines were for me. I tried meditation, breath work, journaling, all of the stuff. To me, it feels if I don't make my bed, it's like the whole rest of the day is thrown off. It just makes like everything else feel messy and just disorganized. Routines are what kept me going when there was so much out of my control.
