How Do You Write Things Down?

i write novels and short stories, but i write phrases down and lines and quotes in my things ap. There is a sort of working notebook that always comes around with me, and is currently in my jacket pocket. And then there's some weird sort of tree arge system that happens. N as ideas gather along with each other, they will get pulled out of the drawer and put to one side of the desk. Eventually something bigger starts too, starts o cohere together.
