The Polemical Nature of Other Religions

I'm curious how much of this is polemical, isn't there an actual Leviathan in mythology of different religious systems? Like is this not just polemic to say that like, hey, these monster gods of these other religions, like they're nothing. So is it not also polemic goal? And I think that's what's going on here. But there's definitely a spiritual dimension. And Leviathan is the reality. The reality behind Leviathan is Hasatan at the end of the book.
