The Quaker Meeting House

In the 1650s, in the Commonwealth, Cromwell's still there, how were they thought of? That's quite an interesting and quite a complicated question to answer. People are very frightened of the Quakers because of their social egalitarianism. They say everybody is equal, we don't want a ministry, we don’t want a national show. Can we stay in the 16 50s? Because that was the furnace in which it was formed,. Then it was tested in the 1660s and very harshly and went on from there.
