The South Garrison's Revolt
There was no uprising scheduled. It was just a spontaneous reaction by these young officers whose lives were in danger, but it set off a chain reaction. There were similar risings across the southern and western provinces. And yeah, it's important to note, this was the work of army officers, not civilians. So the revolution was off to a false start right from the beginning.
