Introduction
Chinese President Xi Jinping took a trip to Moscow this March to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Chinese leader apparently considered this such an important historic meeting that he said upon leaving Moscow that they are embarking on changes not seen for 100 years. But unfortunately almost all of the coverage in Western media doesn't actually inform us about these historical developments in geopolitics and international economics, says Peter Bergen.
