Was Your Dad Musical?
My father was a frustrated entertainer. He got my mam pregnant in high school, and he, they dropped out, and he got a job on the railroad. And i think his whole life, i think that he wished that he had had an opportunity to be on stage somehow. But he was not particularly musical. His poems weren't, i don't think they were good. They might have been good. A jimmy stewart, kind of ogden nash,. maybe at the high end of his aspirations.
