Rock Chalk: I'm a J-Hawk. When did this kind of actual ballot measure or amendment to the Constitution get proposed? And when did the fight around this issue start? This actually has been a long time coming in Kansas. Back in 2019, our Kansas Supreme Court ruled on a case relating to some restrictions that were put in place by our legislature. There was a challenge to the law, and it worked its way through the court system.
