The Anarchists Refuse the Label Democracy
Anarchists refuse the label democracy because they view it as ultimately constituting a polity, whatever you want to call it. I don't want to suggest that Pericles' Athens was anarchy. But all of its strengths and all of its articulation of itself as a democracy is more participatory than what we have today.
