Do You Think Money Shouldn't Be Abe to Buy?
You have famously argued that there are some things money should not be abe to buy. Can you give me some examples? Yes, whether someone is treated for an illness or medical condition should not depend on their ability to pay. So health is one area, which is not to suggest that market mechanisms can never have a role in the provision of health care. But should health itself be a market good? I think the answer is no. And i would also add to the lists civic life, and, for that matter, a political voice. This coming from a place where our supreme court has said that you can't restrict the flow of money into political campaigns even by big corporations and wealthy individuals
