Cardioversion for Atrefibulation
Most patients with a fib do not need an emergent, or even an urgent, cardiversion. We also tend to defer cardiversion to allow time for anticoagulation. The longer youave been in afib, we've got that risk of embolization. If they haven't had a caudi version in the past, at some point in time we will do a cardio version.
