Hemorrhage Control - What Are the Targets?

The values I'll be looking at are hemoglobin, platelets, INR, and everyone's favorite forgotten factor of fibrinogen. When all is done, I'm aiming for hemoglobin of about 70. For polytraumas or patients with a head bleed, I like the INR to be as close to 1.5 as possible. In terms of metabolic targets, you know, we'd like to see the metabolic profile normalized. So 7.2, 7.25, 7.3, we'd likes to see the base deficit improving. We'd like tosee the lactate below four. And of course, you want to maintain a normal calcium of over one
