The overwhelming majority of people are using a node other than theirs. The light client users who would suffer significantly in that situation yeah I agree but on the other end the other people would benefit from not potentially contaminating what they're doing. "I don't think anyone would argue that if their servers compromise it's would be fine so to bring it out"
