The left got just short of twice the vote from the french people that the right wing did. Roughly half of the eligible french voters did not go to the poles. This continues a tradition, not only in france, but in most other countries,. More and more people draw the conclusion that the tired, old politics of the conventional parties has nothing to do with the reality of young people's lives.
