The Meaning of Selflessness
Most of what you look at happens by itself, your heart beats by itself. Your feelings come by themselves mostly, don't they? The sensations in the body come by themselves,. thoughts, God knows you can't control those, they come by themselves. It all happens by certain laws of cause and effect and so forth all by itself. That's part of the meaning of selflessness, that it's not owned. Our whole life is that, not only is it impermanent, but it comes out of nothing, and goes back into this creative nothingness.
