The Day of the Lord's Redeemal
The servant heralds a dramatic reversal of the people's fortunes, from bondage to glorious liberty. Festal garments will replace mourning clothes and ashes. Those whose spirits once languished in gloom would now be dressed for praise. Such prophecies of salvation frequently conclude with an explanation of the fact that the driving purpose of the lord's salvation is that might be glorified. And this is no exception.
