We want to raise our children to trust authority. Authority really means like author, an author, someone who has words. We want them to listen to our words so they can have a good life. When we're saying we're disappointed, the truth is we're seeking our own control rather than their good. So I've done it. I'm disappointed in myself too and I'm disappointment in Dave too. And that's what your children are always believing you're seeking their good.
