Applying Early Decision to a Non-Binding Program?
Yale has an early decision program that is non-binding. Students can compare other offers, request a review of their financial aid award and submit other applications to other schools later in the process. Some schools allow students to get out of ED contracts if Financial Aid Award isn't affordable. Another subcategory of early action programs are called single choice early action. They mean the same thing but have different nomenclature.
