The Wealth Concentration of the DMV
The amount of wealth that is concentrated in the D.C. area, if the regular American population really understood what's going on with federal jobs and the largesse that's spinning off from that,. I think you would have a pitchfork moment, but it's kind of not understood by most of America at least yet. It's not as if people who work for the DMV have been getting 30% of your pay rises. What happens is the vast majority of government workers have seen stagnant wages like everybody else if not declining real wages. They're all cut. This is essentially the rape of the state.
