The Briar Wood Tree

The book is about a man who goes to the brig, which was formerly the immersed gateway. The circular room is filled with jail cells, each unique from the other. You see sort of inside looks like he's next to someone that's laying down. He's in a jail cell that's got cold air flowing out of it. And across in one of the other cells, you spy a paralyzed and her cell is glowing with purple sangria night. Like the real paralyzed gumbo starts growling.
