The Metaverse: A Guide to Being Yourself

I found the book almost punishingly straight I feel like especially in a post-matrix age in which there is this acknowledgement and embracing of queer possibility within cyberspace. No one has an identity that is distinctly severed from who they are in real life yes hero is the coolest hacker on earth but it's not that this is a manifestation of his personality that can only exist in the metaverse in the real world he is the coolest. It allows you to be more yourself because and forgive me as you know bringing my perspective into this I found the bookalmost punishingly straight  in any time I've kind of read it or gone back to reread it too.
