In 1067 William was able to bask in his glory for a while and show everybody just what a great guy he truly was. He went on a procession through Normandy with the conquered English leaders Stigand, Edwin, Morkar and Edgar the Athlingen Toe. But as soon as he got there he was quickly dispatched by Oswald, the descendants of Richard of Bambara who you will remember from previous episodes. Back in England his confidence does seem to have been well placed. There were two hotspots caused by an Anglo-Saxon thing called Edrich the Wild.
