The Importance of Reconstituting Reality

Markusa: We have to completely change how we perceive reality because reality isn't going to bend. He might think we can reconstitute reality, but the only thing we can do is completely adopt a lens on reality that changes entirely. And art is now going to change its entire purpose; it's now going to be productive in the material and cultural transformation. In other words, it's going to become propaganda. As such a force, art would be an integral factor. Instead of the segregation of the aesthetic from the real, instead of the commercial unification of business and beauty, exploitation and pleasure, art would recapture some of its more primitive technical connotations.
