How Did You Get Interested in Folklore?

Michael Bell: I got interested in folklore when I was very young growing up listening to family stories. Many of them were what you would call supernatural stories, on the cusp between something that could really have happened and probably didn't. But even at a young age my mind wanted to grasp the dialectic, what we call now the dialectic double legend because it's on that cusp of being believable and not believable.
