The Importance of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in Christian Responses to War

Dietrich Bonhoeffer is a German Lutheran pastor and theologian who openly rebelled against Hitler. He actively participated in the ecumenical movements, spreading information about Naziism. And so he was arrested and killed before some one month before the war ended. For many Ukrainians and Russians, this is like very inspirational figure, especially during the war. But of course, in our languages, we have very little information about him.
