Is There a Way Out?

i grew up american family, sort of in the west, in colorado. I remember very distinctly being in presence as a child most of the time and noticing thoughts. By the time i was probably in my early teens, i felt that there was just something pervasively wrongand i didn't know what it was. So for about four or five years, i meditated religiously. And it helped, but it really just helped in the moments i was meditating. It was aa relief, a respite from all the suffering that was going on all day long.
