Peking Man is basically an ancient Homo erectus remain. It was found in the Zhukodian cave in Northern China, and it dates to the middle Pleistocene. There's a reconstruction of the skull you can find on the internet,. The skull was lost during World War II, but we have reconstructions. In general it's clearly a Homo erectus, so Peking Man is important obviously because it shows the presence of humans.
