Is Your Career a Technologist or an Illustrator?
I grew up in a very techy family. Both parents were programmers and they became other things later. So most of my technical illustration skills, I didn't come from traditional drawing first that I trained in later when I wanted to get better. But I very much downloaded just some janky copy of Photoshop in high school and would stay up till 2am making backgrounds. That was for sure where my skills came from.
