What's the Thought Process on a Shorter Term Deal?

With trevor you gues obviously took a different approach when you went with a shorter term deal. What was the thought process on that? And like, what did team say when you went to them with that? Were they confused? Did they not like it? Did they like it? What was it? So our client came to us said, this is what i want. I want a one year deal. And we were able to talk em into, what if we gave you three one year deals or something were where youha a player ocked out after every season? That essentially gives you an insurance policy every year that if something happens, right, you're not a free agent
