What's So Amazing About Section 230?
Daphne Oz: The Fifth Circuit seems to be or trying to resuscitate a terrible legal standard. She says the court's idea that there is some conflict between asserting immunity for defamatory posts put up by users under 230, but also asserting a right to moderate content ignores the entire logic of 230. Oz: You can't just classify everyone, all the intermediaries and platforms, as if they were either newspapers, purely, legally responsible for whatever they publish.
