Is There This Level of Religious Context in the Video Games?

David's role is a little more straightforward than in the video games. The whole religious context, the layer of him being this false prophet, this preacher to these people, that's all brand new. How close are the group of cannibals? All you see are a bunch of like goons and raiders and men who do his bidding. Why do you think they chose to take something in the game that seems that it's as innocuous as cannibals can be?
