Early Years Education - How Did You Do That?
The goal was to be a top 10 group in the sector, which is early years education. All of our competitors were private equity backed or backed by pension funds. And we were completely privately owned. I owned 85% of the company. We would typically do an asset purchase rather than a share purchase and stock purchase. So we'd buy out of the company, the customer contracts, the staff would be automatically transferred anyway. It's just a cleaner, faster way of doing it. The legal's a shorter as well.
